Hear a note. Understand the signal.

Real-time spectral analysis turns the microphone input into a clear tuning display. FFT, harmonic product spectrum and signal-quality checks help identify the fundamental frequency among its overtones — so the display is about the note you are playing.

02Focus Mode

Give one string your full attention.

Focus Mode concentrates detection around the selected string and its target frequency. Follow the deviation as you tune, with a visual reference that helps separate the note you want from surrounding harmonics.

Move from guitar to bass, ukulele, banjo or mandolin, then on to violin, viola, cello, double bass, bouzouki, lute, dulcimer and cittern. Choose a prepared tuning, including guitar alternatives such as Drop D, Open G and DADGAD.

Play the chord. See what you played.

On-device machine learning analyses the notes you play and turns them into chord candidates. A pitch-class display and chord history make the result visible, while capo support keeps the musical context in view. Recognition depends on the instrument and recording conditions.

05Chord voicings

From a chord name to a shape you can play.

Explore fretboard diagrams for your instrument and tuning. Compare different voicings and positions rather than relying on a single generic guitar shape — useful when learning a song or finding another way to play it.

06440 Hz

Your reference pitch. Your sound.

Set the reference frequency to match the instrument or ensemble: 440 Hz is a starting point, not a restriction. Keep tuning and chord tools in a single workspace on iPhone or spread them out on iPad.
