What do TRI and TRE mean?
TRI means Type Rating Instructor; TRE means Type Rating Examiner. Jan Janik provides both instruction and examiner services for the Airbus A320.
Do you provide training in the aircraft?
Yes. My unrestricted A320 instructor privileges cover simulator and aircraft instruction, including base training and take-off and landing training for pilots new to the type.
Is base training the same as landing training?
Base training is the familiar term for aircraft training focused on take-offs and landings during a type rating programme. Part-FCL also uses the terms landing training and take-off and landing training. We confirm the required exercises against your training programme.
Terminology: Airbus base training · Part-FCL, FCL.910.TRI and FCL.930.TRI
